QUICK EAGLE NETWORKS TO LAUNCH INDUSTRY’S FIRST DUAL CSU/DSU

New product launch to strengthen Quick Eagle’s leadership position in the CSU/DSU market

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA – March 15, 2007 - Quick Eagle Networks, Inc., a leading provider of integrated WAN access solutions, today announced that it has launched the world’s first dual CSU/DSU – its 4215 Dual CSU/DSU™. The new product emphasizes Quick Eagle’s leadership position in the CSU/DSU market.

The 4215 Dual CSU/DSU comes with two T1 or E1 WAN ports; the electrical interface on the DTE port is selectable as RS-449/EIA-530 or V.35. Data traffic can be Frame Relay, PPP, Cisco HDLC, or Transparent bit-based protocol. In line with today’s customer requirements, the key differentiating feature of the 4215 Dual CSU/DSU when compared to so-called “dumb” access devices is the ability to activate full network monitoring capability via a software key.

The feature key “unlocks” functions such as protocols and applications monitoring (RMON-1 and RMON-2), Frame Relay service level verification (FRF.13 compliant), end-to-end IP service level verification, and DiffServ monitoring.

The 4215 Dual CSU/DSU is SNMP-manageable in-band when using Frame Relay, PPP, or Cisco HDLC protocols, offers menu-driven configuration, includes comprehensive diagnostics, and complies with industry and regulatory standards. A troubleshooter feature includes LMI conditioning, link-based testing, and in-band management. These tools simplify installation and troubleshooting, thereby reducing network downtime and remote technician costs.

User level security lets end users define multiple access levels to the device configuration menus and an internal clock keeps the unit synchronized with the network.

"We have worked closely with our customers to develop this next-generation platform, which is tailored to meet the changing needs of a remote office or campus environment," said Naresh C. Kapahi, chief executive officer and president at Quick Eagle. "We have had great success with our CSU/DSU products. The latest addition opens new markets to us by offering new features sets at a lower price point.”

The 4215 Dual CSU/DSU is listed at $1,699.
