QUICK EAGLE NETWORKS LAUNCHES TR-069 FIRMWARE FOR ITS ADSL2+ ROUTERS

Auto-configuration feature successfully tested with SupportSoft’s ServiceGateway software

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA – February 2, 2007 - Quick Eagle Networks, Inc., a leading provider of integrated WAN access solutions, today announced that its DL700 and DL710 ADSL2+ Routers™ have successfully passed interoperability testing with the DSL Forum CPE WAN Management protocol. Known as TR-069, this specification ensures that Quick Eagle’s ADSL2+ routers can be easily configured, activated and managed from a console in the network, helping ISPs and carriers to effectively control the costs of deployment and support of the router, as well as tightly manage triple play service delivery.

The TR-069 specification provides the necessary framework for efficient and scalable deployment of new services using DSL broadband infrastructure, including combined delivery of VoIP, IPTV and high-speed data services. The first firmware release is tailored towards interoperability with SupportSoft’s ServiceGateway™ software.

The DSL Forum is recognized as the leading industry consortium dedicated to developing the full potential of DSL broadband. Its membership includes 200 leading service providers, equipment manufacturers and other interested parties worldwide - all committed to developing common standards and embracing new applications to meet the needs of the next generation of multimedia services for DSL customers.

“Quick Eagle’s commitment to quality is essential to our success with our customers,” said Naresh C. Kapahi, chief executive officer and president at Quick Eagle. “Validating interoperability with SupportSoft’s solutions and the DSL Forum TR-069 specification helps ensure that we are providing a standards-driven remote management interface for integrated ADSL2+ routers so that our customers can more easily deliver triple-play services.”

The new firmware is available upon special request by Quick Eagle’s ISP and carrier customers.
